Ferrari president Sergio Marchionne is set to leave his role earlier than expected. The Italian who was due to step down at the end of the year is reportedly set for an imminent departure from the company due to health concerns following complications from recent shoulder surgery.
The Ferrari board are due to meet today to discuss Marchionne’s replacement.
Marchionne played an instrumental part in bringing the Alfa Romeo back to Formula One this season as the Italian company are now the title sponsor of the Sauber F1 Team.
