Trackhouse Racing team co-owner Justin Marks has confirmed that he is interested in bringing his team to the Indianapolis 500 but says that it will not be this year.

Marks says that he fell in love with the Indianapolis 500 when he sat in the grandstands for the 1995 edition of the Greatest Spectacle In Racing.

It’s such an incredible experience just being there watching. “Certainly is a dream of mine to have Trackhouse represented in that race. There are continuing discussions. It’s no small feat. It’s something that that we’ve looked at as a company for a number of years. I think when the time is right, we’ll take a real hard look at it.

The Trackhouse Racing NASCAR Cup Series team are powered by Chevrolet who also supply engines to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES so it would be straightforward enough for them to get a deal in place for the Indy 500.

Marks, who co-owns Trackhouse with singer Pitbull says that in order for the Indianapolis 500 to work out for the team it has to be done in a meaningful way and the team would have to be competitive.

An obvious choice for the team would be to partner with an existing NTT INDYCAR SERIES outfit which would enable Trackhouse to get up to speed quickly. There are a multitude of teams who could assist them.

Trackhouse could do something similar to what Hendrick Motorsports has done with Arrow McLaren for 2025 with Kyle Larson aiming to compete in the Greatest Spectacle In Racing in May.

It is still early days so we will have to wait and see what happens.
