ABB FIA Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag says that Felipe Massa’s addition to the series is fantastic for the sport and he believes that the Brazilian will do extremely well in the series.

The 2019 ABB FIA Formula E season got underway on Saturday with the Ad Diriyah ePrix in Saudi Arabia.

Massa who is driving for Susie Wolff’s Venturi Formula E team was handed two fanboost penalties during Saturday’s race.

Agag also believes that former Formula One drivers Stoffel Vandoorne and Pascal Wehrlein are also great assets for the sport to have and he is delighted that the series has been able to attract drivers from other series.
