Williams Martini Racing have confirmed that Felipe Massa has been cleared to compete in the rest of the weekend’s action at the Hungarian Grand Prix after the Brazilian went to hospital on Friday evening.

Massa complained of dizzy spells and wenr to the medical center followed by a trip to hospital for precautionary checks.

Williams reserve driver Paul Di Resta is on standby in case Massa is unable to continue following practice.

There has been speculation in the paddock that Massa is suffering the same issue that Sky Sports F1 HD’s Martin Brundle suffered during the British Grand Prix.
