The McLaren Renault Formula One team announced on Saturday that they have entered into a season long partnership with soft drink giant Coca-Cola.

The new partnership is an extension of the one they had for a number of races last season.

As part of the new agreement, the Coca-Cola logo as well as branding from Coca-Cola’s other brands will appear on the Renault powered MCL34’s of Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris and on their overalls and team clothing.

Speaking about the announcement McLaren Chief Executive Officer Zak Brown said:

I’m proud that Coca-Cola, one of the most recognised consumer brands and supporters of sports fans in the world, has chosen to extend its partnership with our Formula 1 team. There was a positive reaction to our 2018 debut as partners on the Formula 1 track and I’m looking forward to us exploring the full potential of this partnership over the coming season.

Coca-Cola will work with McLaren at different events across the season. Speaking about the announcement, Vice President of Sport and Entertainment partnership Ricardo Fort said:

We are excited to extend and expand our relationship with McLaren for the 2019 racing season. Sponsoring McLaren will allow us to create unique consumer experiences around the world.
