The McLaren Formula One Team, fresh from a 1-2 finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix last weekend, which saw Oscar Piastri score his maiden Formula One victory, announced on Wednesday that they have signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with American payment services company Mastercard.
As part of the new agreement the Mastercard logo will appear on the cars driven by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri later in the season.
Mastercard are no strangers to Formula One having sponsored the Lola F1 Team in 1997 before moving to Jordan Grand Prix and being with Eddie Jordan’s team from 1998-2001.
