McLaren CEO Zak Brown has confirmed that the Woking based outfit are exploring the idea of competing at the 24 Hours of LeMans possibly as soon as as 2021.

Speaking ahead of this weekend’s 24 Hours of LeMans Brown said that McLaren are keen to run Fernando Alonso at LeMans.

Briwn has said however that the team will only pursue a LeMans entry depending on how their Formula One programme is doing.

McLaren have show great performance gains in Formula One this season currently occupying fourth place in the Constructors championship.
