McLaren Racing announced on Thursday that they have entered entered into a partnership with MindMaze for the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on May 26.
The innovative and strategic partnership will see MindMaze and McLaren collaborate on MindDrive, the next generation of performance and safety in motorsport.
MindMaze will be represented on Fernando Alonso’s Chevrolet powered NTT IndyCar as well as his race overalls as well as branding on McLaren’s team wear.
Speaking about the news, McLaren IndyCar president Bob Fernley said:
This is an exciting partnership for our Indy 500 programme. We’ve admired MindMaze’s innovative approach to neuroscience for some time, and combined with McLaren’s expertise on track, and deep understanding of racers and their safety needs, this partnership has the potential to deliver a real step in the safety of the sport. We’re looking forward to getting started on our journey to the Indy 500 together.”
