Australian V8 Supercar champion Scott McLaughlin looks set to make a full time move to the NTT IndyCar Series in 2021.

It has been reported in the US by racer.com that McLaughlin’s team co owner Dick Johnson has informed the Australian Supercar championship that 2020 will be the New Zealander’s last year in the sport.

At the moment in time, McLaughlin will be make his NTT IndyCar Series race debut with Team Penske at the GMR Grand Prix of Indianapolis on May 9.

McLaughlin was extremely impressive during the recent full field NTT IndyCar Series Spring Training event at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas.

The New Zealander hit the crowd running recording the third fastest time of 01:47.2630s with a time of 01:47.2630s.
