Team Penske will have it all to do on Sunday after Scott McLaughlin in the No.3 Pennzoil Chevrolet crashed at Turn 2 of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during Firestone Fast 12 practice.

The car flew up in the air and landed right side up. McLaughlin had just set the fastest speed of practice with a 233.553MPH. The crash was the latest in what we have seen over the past two days with Meyer Shank Racing’s Marcus Armstrong suffering a big crash on Saturday morning while Colton Herta in the No.26 Gainbridge Andretti Global Honda suffered a huge crash after going upside down in his car.

The good news is that none of the drivers that we have seen who have had accidents over the last few days have been hurt which is testament to the safety innovations in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

INDYCAR officials are currently working to repair the race track as the McLaughlin’s accident caused a slipt in the track. Ryan Hunter-Reay believes the crash was at 235MPH.
