Three time Virgin Atlantic Australian Supercar champion Scott McLaughlin is ready to finally make his NTT IndyCar Series debut with Team Penske at this weekend’s 2020 season ending Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg.

McLaughlin who tested an IndyCar with Penske at the Circuit Of The Americas in February just ahead of the original start of the season will be reunited with his IndyCar team mate’s Josef Newgarden who is in the title fight, Simon Pagenaud and Will Power.

The addition of a fourth car for Team Penske this weekend will add an extra load of technical data for the team in terms of car set up.

On Sunday, ahead of flying to the U.S for the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg, McLaughlin who had just competed in the Bathurst 1000 tweeted:
