The NTT IndyCar Series could be set to replace Formula One at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City after the organisers of the F1 event missed the official deadline for the provisional 2020 Formula One calendar.

Mexico returned to the Formula One calendar in 2015 however it now appears that the 2019 event will be the last in Formula One for the foreseeable future.

Step in the NTT IndyCar Series who are looking to bring a race to an international audience.

Paddock Eye understands that a race in Australia could be given the green light in the coming months for the 2020 season.
