Meyer Shank Racing’s NTT IndyCar Series team will help their primary sponsor AutoNation celebrate their 25th anniversary this weekend as the series heads to the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg, round 2 of the 2021 season.
Last season, Jack Harvey, driver of the No.60 AutoNation Sirius XM Honda qualified in fifth place for the race and fought upfront and was on course for a strong result before he was forced to retire from the race following contact and as a result, the Englishman is seeking redemption this weekend.
Speaking ahead of the race this weekend, Jack Harvey commented saying:
“We had a lot of positives to take out of Barber. “We’re obviously hoping to roll into St. Pete with that same momentum. We’ve been really strong there in the past and street course racing is definitely a favorite of mine. I’m hoping that we can build on all of the progress we have made and we can come out of it with a strong result.”
