Arrow McLaren SP’s Felix Rosenqvist in the No.7 Vuse Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet says that the Mid-Ohio Sportscar course is a special place. The NTT IndyCar Series is in Ohio this weekend for the Honda Indy 200 presented by HPD Ridgeline and it is Rosenqvist’s first race back in action after missing the REV Group Grand Prix of Road America last time out and race 2 in Detroit following his crash in Detroit race one.

Speaking to Paddock Eye during a media conference call ahead of practice later today (Friday) the Swede said that the Mid-Ohio circuit is special because the fans can get close to the action and although the overtaking opportunities are limited it usually provides exciting racing.

Rosenqvist came close to scoring his first NTT IndyCar Series victory here in 2019 when he was in an extremely close battle with then-teammate Scott Dixon after the pair battled throughout the race right to the chequered flag with Dixon taking victory by the slimmest of margins while Rosenqvist came home in second place.

Rosenqvist said that he is looking froward to getting back in the car and hopes to be challenging upfront this weekend and for the rest of the 2021 NTT IndyCar Series season.
