Penske Entertainment Corporation President and CEO Mark Miles says that PREMA Racing’s addition to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES grid will help raise the bar for the sport.
Miles joined the team on Friday afternoon at their official launch in Charlotte, North Carolina. Speaking at the event, he said:
“It’s huge,. “We are so thrilled to be here today. The whole organization is world class, passionate. We’re so happy to have them in INDYCAR. I think they’re going to continue to raise the bar in so many ways.”
Miles also feels that the arrival of the European team will help the NTT INDYCAR SERIES audience grow in Europe, which it did when McLaren joined the grid in 2021.
PREMA’s arrival in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES is the fourth team to join the series in the past five years, with Meyer Shank Racing making their full-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES race debut in 2020, while Arrow McLaren joined the grid in 2021, as did Juncos Hollinger Racing.
