Arrow McLaren SP announced on Wednesday that their partner, Mission Foods will team up with Juan Pablo Montoya for the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge as the Colombian bids to win his third Indianapolis 500.

Speaking about the news, Montoya, who joins Arrow McLaren SP full-time drivers Pato O’Ward and Felix Rosenqvist commented saying:

“I am incredibly honored to have the support of Mission Foods as I return to Indianapolis to compete for my third Indianapolis 500 win. “My family has been buying MISSION® tortillas, wraps and chips at the store for years. It’s always great when you can have a partner whose products you truly enjoy.”

Montoya will aim to win his third 500 with a third different team having previously taken victory in the Greatest Spectacle In Racing with Chip Ganassi Racing and Team Penske. Speaking about the news regarding Mission Foods, McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown commented saying:

“We are proud to have Mission Foods as an important partner of the team in INDYCAR. The Indianapolis 500 is the biggest event of the year and it’s only fitting that they be an even bigger part of it by joining Juan Pablo for the race. “I look forward to seeing them at Indianapolis and at the track all season long.”

Mission Foods began their partnership with Arrow McLaren SP in the NTT IndyCar Series at the start of the 2020 season and speaking about the expansion of their partnership with Juan Pablo Montoya, President and CEO of Mission Foods, Juan Gonzalez commented saying:

Arrow McLaren SP Team co-owner Sam Schmidt commented saying:

The 2021 NTT IndyCar Series season kicks off on April 18 with the Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park however, before the drivers hit the track, season two of the IndyCar Series IRacing Challenge gets underway on Thursday in Montreal.

The 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge takes place on May 30.
