Billy Monger claimed a fantastic podium finish as he returned to racing for the first time since he lost both his legs in an accident at Donington Park last April.

Monger, driving in the BRDC Formula 3 championship event at Oulton Park with Carlin Racing, started the race from fifth and had a dream race as he ended the event on the podium in third place behind race winner Linus Lundqvist and Nicolai Kjaergaard.

Monger has received incredible support throughout the world of motorsport and elsewhere and it was a fantastic result for the 18 year old and provides hope and support to people in similar situations to him and not just in motorsport.
