W Series driver Sarah Moore made history on Saturday in Austria, becoming the first openly LBGTQ+ racing driver to stand on the podium on a Formula One Grand Prix weekend.

Moore came home in second place behind race winner Alice Powell.

Speaking following the action, Moore said:

“I stalled on the formation lap but managed to get away well at the start of the race to keep a little bit of pressure on Alice. The safety car came out and I was under pressure from behind at the restart, but Beitske’s spin gave me some room at the end of the race. Coming off the back of 2019 and the way that ended, this is such a boost
