Arrow McLaren’s new Director of Competition Kyle Moyer says he missed the INDYCAR paddock as he takes up his new role with the team this weekend.
Moyer was released by Team Penske earlier this season along with Ron Ruzewski and Tim Cindric.
Moyer, who has been in INDYCAR for years will also work on Nolan Siegel’s pit stand as his race engineer starting in Mid-Ohio this weekend.
Speaking to Fox Sports during Friday practice, Moyer said that he missed the INDYCAR paddock but was looking forward to getting stuck into work at Arrow McLaren.
When asked by Georgia Henneberry if he had set any goals for the weekend, Moyer, who only started work at Arrow McLaren on Monday said no that he would spend the first weekend with the team getting to know everyone.
