Chip Ganassi Racing’s Marcus Armstrong, the driver of the No.11 Ridgeline Honda, says Thursday morning at the Thermal Club in California was his favorite morning of the year so far as he got some valuable testing mileage in his IndyCar as he prepares to make his NTT IndyCar Series race debut at the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg presented by RP Funding which takes place from March 3-5.

The Kiwi will be back on track in the No.11 Ridgeline Honda later today as the opening day of IndyCar Spring Training continues. It is also the first time that Armstrong has been on track with his teammates Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda, Alex Palou in the No.10 American Legion Honda, and Marcus Ericsson in the No.8 Huski Chocolate Honda.
