The Sauber F1 Team’s Felipe Nasr completed 116 laps on the third day of the second winter test at the Barcelona Circuit Du Catalunya in Montmelo as the Brazilian continued to evaluate the Hinwil based outfit’s new Ferrari powered C35.
Nasr set the sixth fastest time of the day overall with a 1m 24.760s on the set of Pirelli’s Soft compound tyre.
Speaking following the session, Nasr commented by saying:
It was another positive day in the new C35 car. We were able to accumulate good mileage on the car, doing a mix of short runs and a race simulation in the afternoon. That was really good, but we still have a lot of work to do. For me the next time in the car will be in Melbourne. I think, as far as the procedures are concerned, I have got myself prepared for the season opener.
The next time Nasr drives the C35 will be in Free Practice One in Melbourne, Australia as his team mate Marcus Ericsson will complete the winter programme on Friday.
