Felipe Nasr’s future at the Sauber F1 Team has been thrown into doubt as it was confirmed on Friday that his primary sponsor Banco Do Brasil have pulled out.
Sauber F1 Team Principal Monisha Keltenborn commented by saying:
They have interrupted their 2017 sponsorship programme.
“Our seat is still open, we are including that in our assessment and that’s all there is to say.”
The Swiss bssed outfit confirmed earlier this week that thry have extended Marcus Ericsson’s contract into next season.
The Manor F1 Team’s Padcal Werhlein has been linked with the second seat at the Swiss outfit.
