Belgium’s Theirry Neuville took victory in the penultimate event of the FIA World Rally Championship in Spain on Sunday. Neuville and his co-driver Martijn Wydaeghe who ended the event just ahead of Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Elfyn Evans who closed the gap in the championship to Sebastien Ogier to 17 points with just the season-ending Rally Italia remaining this season.
Dani Sordo gave Hyundai Motorsports a double podium finish with a third-place finish after managing to overhaul Sebastien Ogier while Kalle Rovanpera rounded out the top five.
M-Sport Ford WRC Team’s Gus Greensmith rounded out the top six.
