Chip Ganassi Racing’s defending NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon who drives the No.9 PNC Bank Honda said he was unsure what happened to his car during Carb Day on Friday.
The practice is behind him and he is now fully focused on today’s race. The Iceman who has one win here which came back in 2008 will be hoping that he can make his way through the field and get up front early following a difficult qualifying last weekend.
Dixon will start today’s race from 18th place however he has a great team around him and steering the No.9 PNC Bank crew is Mike Hull who is one of the most experienced race strategists in the business and starting towards the back of the field he is the guy you want in your ear.
Dixon can uses his experience to make his way through the field as the saying goes you can’t win the race in the first corner but you sure can lose it. Let’s Go Racing!
