The Tennessee native recovered from his crash in qualifying on Saturday to set a fastest time of 01:43.1311s.

Scott McLaughlin in the No.3 XPEL Chevrolet was second fastest with a time of 01:43.4258s.

Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda was third fastest with a time of 01:43.7895s ending up just ahead of Juncos Hollinger Racing’s Romain Grosjean.

Colton Herta who starts the race from second place later today was fifth fastest just ahead of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Christian Lundgaard and Pato O’Ward of Arrow McLaren.

Pietro Fittipaldi was 8th just ahead of his teammate Graham Rahal while Will Power rounded out the top ten in the No.12 Verizon Business Team Penske Chevrolet.

Alexander Rossi was 11th in the No.7 VELO Arrow McLaren Chevrolet just ahead of Kyle Kirkwood and Marcus Ericsson.

Marcus Armstrong was 14th just ahead of his teammate and defending champion Alex Palou in the No.10 DHL Chip Ganassi Racing Honda.

Ed Carpenter Racing’s Rinus VeeKay was 16th just ahead of polesitter Linus Lundqvist in the No.8 Be The One American Legion Honda.

Christian Rasmussen was 18th despite bringing out the only red flag of the session while Sting Ray Robb was 19th.

Nolan Siegel was 20th for Juncos Hollinger Racing just ahead of Thèo Pourchaire and AJ Foyt Racing’s Santino Ferrucci.

Jack Harvey in the No.18 INVST Dale Coyne Racing Honda was 23rd just ahead of his teammate Luca Ghiotto and the Meyer Shank Racing duo of Felix Rosenqvist and Helio Castroneves.

Kyffin Simpson rounded out the order in the No.4 Journie Rewards Chip Ganassi Racing Honda.
