Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts Honda was third fastest for Andretti Autosport just ahead of Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Robert Wickens in the No.6 Lucas Oil Honda.
Marco Andretti in the No.98 US Concrete Honda was fifth fastest and speaking to the IndyCar Radio Network he said that there good passing zones and that he wants to fight at the front and qualifying at the front. AJ Foyt Racing’s Tony Kanaan in the No.14 ABC Supply Chevrolet was sixth fastest.

Ed Jones was 12th fastest in the No.10 NTT DATA Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing ending the session just ahead of Ryan Hunter Reay in the No.28 DHL Honda while Team Penske’s Indianapolis 500 winner Will Power in the No.12 Verizon Chevrolet was 14th fastest just ahead of Carlin Racing’s Max Chilton.
Dale Coyne with Vasser Sullivan Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais in the No.18 SealMaster Honda was 16th fastest just ahead of Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe in the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda.
Jordan King was 18th for Ed Carpenter Racing just ahead of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal.
Charlie Kimball was 20th in the No.23 Tresiba Cheverolet for Carlin Racing just ahead of Zachary Claman DeMelo for Dale Coyne Racing in the No.19 Paysafe Honda.
Juncos Racing’s Alfonso Celis making his Verizon IndyCar Series debut this weekend was 22nd while Gabby Chaves rounded out the order in 23rd place for Harding Racing.
