Defending Indianapolis 500 champion Josef Newgarden was at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday for the final day of a three day test on the IMS road course.
Newgarden joined his teammates, Will Power and Scott McLaughlin of Team Penske to conduct testing.
Newgarden took time out of his schedule to join Indianapolis Motor Speedway President J Douglas Boles to unveil his banner at Gate 2 of the Brickyard.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Christian Lundgaard and Ed Carpenter Racing’s Rinus VeeKay and Christian Rasmussen were also in action on Saturday.
