Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda was second fastest with a speed of 225.457MPH.
It was a great day for Juncos Hollinger Racing in the No.76 ampm Chevrolet as he ended the day third with a speed of 224.893MPH.
Arrow McLaren’s Pato O’Ward in the No.5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet was fourth just ahead of Dreyer and Reinbold Racing with Cusick Motorsports Ryan Hunter-Reay in the No.23 WedBush Chevrolet.
Alex Palou was sixth in the No.10 DHL Chip Ganassi Racing Honda with a 223.456MPH.
Colton Herta was seventh just ahead of Christian Rasmussen as he ended the day with the only caution of the day.
David Malukas was ninth for AJ Foyt Racing just ahead of Scott McLaughlin who rounded out the top ten.
Alexander Rossi was 11th just ahead of Sting Ray Robb who showed good pace in the No.77 Goodheart Chevrolet.
Rinus VeeKay was 13th just ahead of Marcus Armstrong and four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves. Kyle Kirkwood was 16th just ahead of Kyle Larson who ended the day ahead of Christian Lundgaard with a 222.222MPH.
Devlin DeFrancesco was 19th just ahead of Jacob Abel.
Kyffin Simpson was 21st just ahead of Marco Andretti and Nolan Siegel.
Will Power was 24th just ahead of Ed Carpenter and Louis Foster while Marcus Ericsson was 27th.
Jack Harvey was 28th just ahead of Takuma Sato.
Felix Rosenqvist rounded out the top 30. Callum Ilott was 31st just ahead of Robert Shwartzman and Santino Ferrucci while Graham Rahal rounded out the order.
