The NTT IndyCar Series iRacing Challenge heads to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas this weekend for the penultimate round of the championship.
The inaugural NTT IndyCar Series iRacing Challenge has been a huge success with all of the 2020 drivers taking part in at least one of the opening four races of the six race season. Chevrolet have been really quick off the mark with four wins from four races.
Honda are hoping to respond this weekend as the series heads to Texas. Five time Series champion Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing believes that the drivers with plenty of sim experience could come to the front. Team Penske’s Will Power in the No.12 Verizon Chevrolet is one such driver who has plenty of sim Racing experience and has come close to winning in the NTT IndyCar Series iRacing Challenge.
The Circuit Of The Americas played host to the NTT IndyCar Series Spring Training event in February. The fifth round of the NTT IndyCar Series iRacing Challenge takes place on Saturday 25 April.
