Indianapolis 500 winner and Verizon IndyCar Series rookie Alexander Rossi’s reserve driver role remains the same despite Rio Haryanto accepting the position of reserve driver after losing his race seat.

Rossi who drives the No.98 Castrol/EDGE Honda for Andretti Autosport is currently leading the Sunoco Rookie of the year standings with four races to go in the Verizon IndyCar Series season. The news means that Manor have both Rossi and Haryanto available for the rest of the season should the need arise for one of them to replace either Pascal Wehrlein or Esteban Ocon.

Rossi is currently concentrated and fully focused on the Verizon IndyCar Series where with four races to go he is in 11th place in the standings on 316 points.
