The NTT IndyCar Series have confirmed that they will not add an extra day to their Spring Training programme to make up for the lost track time on Tuesday.

Due to adverse weather conditions on Tuesday there was limited track action and resulting into today’s session being extended.

It had been suggested that teams were going to be allowed to run on Thursday however it has now been confirmed that the Circuit of the Americas is not available.

A number of teams are heading to Texas Motor Speedway for a rookie orientation test while Team Penske have confirmed that they will attend that test but their driver is down as TBD (To Be Decided).

Paddock Eye understands that Team Penske will likely hand Helio Castroneves the opportunity to drive the No.3 Chevrolet with the aeroscreen as he prepares for the 104th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
