Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton has dismissed suggestions that his Mercedes team should look into his first corner clash with team mate Nico Roberg at the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday.
Hamilton who started the race from pole position made a slow getaway which enabled Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel to pass the English man.
Hamilton was aggressive into turn 1 forcing Nico Roberg wide meaning that the German was forced to take to the escape road and rejoined the track in ninth place.

Hamilton who has now close the gap in the championship to just nine points to Roberg commented by saying:
I don’t see it as something the team has to look at.
Roberg was p***** off following the incident which comes just four weeks after the pair clashed at the Spanish Grand Prix where both drivers were forced to retire from the race.
