Dale Earnhardt Jr has poured cold water on Verizon IndyCar Series driver Marco Andretti competing in NASCAR for his team any time soon as all of his team’s are full.
Earlier this week, Andretti said he would be interested in competing in a NASCAR event at some point but had not spoken to Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Earnhardt Jr replied to Andretti’s tweet on Saturday saying that in order to make such a move work Andretti would have to form part of an All-Star line-up.
In terms of Andretti’s racing future, he is committed to another year with his dad Michael’s team Andretti Autosport where in 2018 he will race alongside Ryan Hunter Reay, Alexander Rossi and Zach Veach.
Stefan Wilson will join the team for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil next May.
