Liberty Media, owners of Formula One and shareholders of Meyer Shank Racing and Penske Entertainment Corporation, the owners of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway have both categorically denied rumors that Liberty Media want to purchase the IndyCar Series.
Bud Denker, President of Penske Entertainment Corporation said in Long Beach that there is absolutely no truth to the rumors.
Denker said that there has been absolutely no discussion about the sale of the sport.
