McLaren Racing Formula One Team’s Lando Norris was the pacesetter in Free Practice One at the Interlagos circuit in Brazil on Friday morning.
George Russell was second fastest for Mercedes while MoneyGram Haas F1 Team’s Oliver Bearman proved to be a super sub for Kevin Magnussen as he ended the morning in third place just 0.195s behind Norris.
Oscar Piastri was fourth while Williams Alex Albon did a great job in fifth place.
Charles Leclerc was sixth just ahead of Carlos Sainz and Nico Hulkenberg while Fernando Alonso was ninth. Pierre Gasly rounded out the top ten just ahead of Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda.
Franco Colapinto was 13th for Williams just ahead of Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen who has been given a five place grid penalty for Sunday’s race.
Lewis Hamilton was 16th for Mercedes just ahead of Lance Stroll and Esteban Ocon.
Sergio Perez and Zhou Guanyu rounded out the order.
