Chip Ganassi announced on Monday that they have extended their long standing partnership with NTT DATA Services which will see NTT DATA serve as primary sponsor to Alex Palou in the No.10 NTT DATA Honda as well as sponsoring the returning Tony Kanaan.
NTT DATA will also serve as associate sponsor to defending series champion Scott Dixon and Jimmie Johnson. Alex Palou will carry the NTT DATA livery for the season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg on March 7, Texas race 1 on May 1, the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on May 30 and the season ending Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on September 19.
NTT DATA Services will serve as primary sponsor for Jimmie Johnson when the NTT IndyCar Series heads to Toronto for the Honda Indy Toronto on the streets of Canada’s largest city and the series only trip outside of the U.S in 2021. Chip Ganassi Racing’s partnership with NTT DATA Services dates back to 2013 when they sponsored Ryan Briscoe in the No.8 IndyCar Series entry. Speaking about the contract extension, team owner Chip Ganassi said:
