The Alpine F1 Team’s Esteban Ocon scored his first ever Formula One victory in Hungary on Sunday following a chaotic Grand Prix.
The race was red flagged on lap three after Valtteri Bottas hit a number of cars due to the conditions and as a result he was handed a five place grid penalty for the next race in Belgium.
In the restart, all drivers took to the pits with the exception of Lewis Hamilton and after pitting he fell down the order to 14th and came back to finish the race in third just behind Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Team’s Sebastian Vettel.
Carlos Sainz came home in fourth place for Ferrari just ahead of Fernando Alonso and Pierre Gasly while Yuki Tsunoda.
It was a great day for the Williams Racing team with both Nicholas Latifi and George Russell coming home in 8th and 9th place respectively. Max Verstappen rounded out the top ten after recovering from terrible damage after being involved in the Bottas crash.
Kimi Raikkonen was 11th just ahead of Daniel Ricciardo and Mick Schumacher while Antonio Giovinazzi rounded out the order for Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN.
