Toyota Gazoo Racing WRC Team’s Sebastien Ogier has retaken the lead of ACI Rally Monza and goes into the final day of the season leading the championship following his team mate Elfyn Evans retirement from the day.
Evans has an uphill challenge to win the title when he restarts on Sunday.
Ogier is 17.8s ahead of Hyundai Motorsports Dani Sordo who went into Saturday leading the event. Ott Tanak is third overall just ahead of M-Sport Ford WRC Team’s Esapekka Lappi and Kalle Rovanpera.
Andreas Mikkelsen is sixth just ahead of Oliver Solberg and Jari Huttunen who was eighth.
Mads Ostberg was ninth while Elias Lindholm rounded out the top ten just ahead of Pontus Tideman.
