Paretta Autosport Team Principal Beth Paretta says that her team are so excited for race weekend at Road America as her outfit makes their 2022 NTT IndyCar Series race debut in the Sonsio Grand Prix of Road America presented by AMR with Simona De Silvestro piloting the No.16 KiwiCo Chevrolet with technical support from Ed Carpenter Racing.
Speaking ahead of the action this weekend, Paretta says:
Our team is so excited for race weekend at Road America. We are so happy to be back in the INDYCAR series and working on road and street courses. It is a great opportunity for us to learn and grow as a team with new venues, new fans, new challenges. We have to keep pushing forward if we’re going to be successful and that’s what we’re trying to do.
Simona De Silvestro will compete in her first road course NTT IndyCar Series race since 2013 and her first race at Road America since 2009 and speaking ahead of the race the Swiss driver says:
I am really looking forward to getting back in an INDYCAR. This series really put me on the map, so for me it’s amazing to come back. I have to thank Beth for pushing this team to be back on the grid. Road America is one of the coolest tracks in North America and I’m excited to drive an INDYCAR there. Hopefully things go quite well and we can walk away from Sunday with a smile on our face and a good result.
