The Sauber F1 Team’s Felipe Nasr drove their 2015 car the C34 for the final time on Thursday as the first winter test at the Barcelona Circuit Du Catalunya in Montmelo wrapped up.
The Brazilian completed 121 laps ending the day with sixth fastest time overall with a 1m 26.053s.
Speaking following his day in the car he commented by saying:
It was again a very intensive day. I collected a lot of mileage while driving the C34 for the last time. In the morning our programme was dedicated to tyre evaluation. I did many short runs on soft tyres. After the lunch break we mainly focused on set-up work and at the end of the session I was able to do a long run. Now I am very much looking forward to driving the new C35 next week.
Nasr will be back in action on Monday at the Barcelona Circuit Du Catalunya as he drives the new Ferrari powered C35 for the first time. Marcus Ericsson will be in the car on Tuesday and Thursday while Nasr will drive the car on Wednesday.
