NTT IndyCar Series driver Patricio (Pato) O’Ward posted a video to his official Twitter feed overnight to thank his fans for the incredible support and messages to to him following Monday’s news that he has parted company with Harding Steinbrenner Racing.
He said he is extremely appreciative of all of the messages and that they mean the world to him and said he is hussling hard to find the right fit for him for the the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series.
In the final race of the 2018 NTT IndyCar Series season, the Grand Prix of Sonoma, O’Ward was the stand out performer starting the race from fifth place for Harding Racing and finishing the event inside the top ten in ninth place.
O’Ward finished his video message to the fans by saying that he hopes to have some good news for them very shortly.
The Mexican still have plenty of time to get a drive in place for 2019 with the new season starting with the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg which takes place from March 8 – 10.
