Verizon IndyCar Series points leader Simon Pagenaud has told Paddock Eye that he is happy with the new pit-lane entrance at the Honda Indy Toronto.

Pagenaud who goes into this weekend with a 73 point lead in the race for the championship was asked what he thought of the changes and he said:

It’s fine, it’s different. I kind of like changes so I’m good with it, it’s definitely a big change to the past few years. So I think we get used to changes but personally I enjoy it, I think pit entrance is a bit of a challenge for sure but it’s the first year we do this new layout so there is always going to be challenges but on the race track itself I found it more exciting than before so I like the fact that Turn 10 is off camber which is a new feature we don’t have on any other track. I like turn 11 it’s blind and you have to be very precise and committed so I actually enjoy it a lot more than before so you might not hear that from everybody. I like changes and I like what they did.
