Former NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion and 2019 Indianapolis 500 winner Simon Pagenaud put on a Sunday morning show here at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The Frenchman completed a tribute lap driving Gil de Ferran’s 2003 Indy 500-winning Team Penske G Force. Gil de Ferran’s wife asked Pagenaud to complete the lap, and he was delighted to accept, as de Ferran was something of a mentor to Pagenaud.
