Meyer Shank Racing’s Simon Pagenaud in the No.60 AutoNation Honda says he is okay after a frightening crash in the second practice session at the Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course ahead of qualifying for Sunday’s Honda Indy 200.
The Frenchman suffered a suspected brake failure with his car flipping six and a half times before coming to rest on its side. Credit to the AMR Safety team who were on the scene of the accident with 20 seconds of the car coming to rest.
