NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Alex Palou in the No.10 The American Legion Chip Ganassi Racing Honda says he didn’t expect to finish on the podium in race 2 at Iowa Speedway on Sunday.
The Spaniard went into the weekend with a 117-point lead in the championship over his teammate Scott Dixon. He is now 80 points ahead of Josef Newgarden but says that he is uncomfortable because anything can happen in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.
Palou has now scored seven podium finishes this season and will be hoping for a strong race in Nashville in two weeks. The Spaniard said that he feels that it could be a tricky race at World Wide Technology Raceway in a couple of weeks.
