Defending NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Alex Palou in the No.10 Ridgeline Lubricants Chip Ganassi Racing says he is excited about the $1 million Challenge at The Thermal Club on Sunday.
The Spaniard led the way in both practice sessions on Friday and speaking following the action he said:
“It was good. “Tire (degradation) is pretty high here, but it’s the same for everybody. Hopefully, that’s going to make the race very, very interesting.
“We want to focus on the race this weekend, but at the same time it’s an opportunity to take today and tomorrow morning as test days. It’s good. It’s exciting.
Palou ended the day with a fastest time of 01:39.3373s.
