Chip Ganassi Racing’s defending series champion Alex Palou in the No.10 NTT DATA Honda was fastest in race day warm up on IndyCar Series championship day with a time of 01:12.9318s ending the session just ahead of championship contender Scott McLaughlin in the No.3 XPEL Team Penske Chevrolet who set a time of 01:13.4435s.

Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts AutoNation Honda ended the session in third place just ahead of Dale Coyne Racing with HMD Motorsports David Malukas who set a fastest time of 01:13.6474s.

Devlin DeFrancesco was fifth fastest for Andretti Autosport with a time of 01:13.7738s just ahead of Rinus VeeKay and Felix Rosenqvist while six-time series champion Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda was eighth fastest just ahead of Colton Herta while Romain Grosjean rounded out the top ten.

Simon Pagenaud was P11 with a time of 01:14.0920s just ahead of Marcus Ericsson with a time of 01:14.2023s ending the session just ahead of Callum Ilott who starts the day in P2 for the championship decider.

Pato O’Ward was P14 just ahead of Graham Rahal, Jack Harvey and Christian Lundgaard. Pole-sitter and championship leader going into today’s race, Will Power was P18 in the No.12 Verizon 5G Team Penske Chevrolet just ahead of Josef Newgarden, Conor Daly and Takuma Sato.

Kyle Kirkwood was 22nd just ahead of Simona De Silvestro and Helio Castroneves while Jimmie Johnson was 25th as Dalton Kellett rounded out the order in 26th.
