NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship leader Alex Palou in the No.10 DHL Honda led a Chip Ganassi Racing 1-2 on Wednesday morning at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Wednesday.
Palou set a fastest speed of 223.303MPH just ahead of Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda.
Felix Rosenqvist was third for Meyer Shank Racing while defending Indianapolis 500 winner Josef Newgarden was fourth.
Pato O’Ward was fifth just ahead of four-time Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves while Graham Rahal was 7th just ahead of Will Power and Ryan Hunter-Reay while Scott McLaughlin was 10th.
