Chip Ganassi Racing’s Alex Palou in the No.10 Ridgeline Honda was the pace-setter in race day warm-up on Sunday morning at Barber Motorsports Park for today’s 90-lap race at the Children’s of Alabama Grand Prix, setting a fastest time of 01:06.3195s ending the session just ahead of Felix Rosenqvist who has continued his strong start to the season.

Josef Newgarden was third fastest in the No.2 PPG Team Penske Chevrolet, while Kyle Kirkwood was fourth fastest, just ahead of Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda, who set a quickest time of 01:06.9488s.

Scott McLaughlin was sixth fastest, just ahead of Kyffin Simpson, who had a great warm-up for Chip Ganassi Racing in the no.4 Journie Rewards Honda. Agustin Canapino was eighth fastest for Juncos Hollinger Racing, just ahead of Linus Lundqvist, while Pato O’Ward rounded out the top ten. Marcus Armstrong was 11th just ahead of Pietro Fittipaldi and Team Penske’s Will Power.

Colton Herta was 14th fastest just ahead of Marcus Ericsson while Santino Ferrucci had a solid session in 16th place for AJ Foyt Racing while Christian Lundgaard was 17th just ahead of Rinus VeeKay and Jack Harvey while Alexander Rossi rounded out the top twenty.

Christian Rasmussen was 21st just ahead of Luca Ghiotto and Tom Blomqvist. Graham Rahal was 24th just ahead of Romain Grosjean, Theo Pourchaire and Sting Ray Robb who rounded out the order in 17th.
