Chip Ganassi Racing’s Alex Palou in the No.10 DHL Honda led the final day of action at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the championship leader setting the pace with a speed of 223.993MPH on Thursday. The championship leader ended the day just ahead of Meyer Shank Racing’s Felix Rosenqvist while Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach race winner Kyle Kirkwood made it an all-Honda 1,2,3 with a 223.362MPH.

Juncos Hollinger Racing’s Conor Daly was very impressive on the final day of action before May with the Noblesville native the fastest Chevrolet-powered car in fourth place with a speed of 223.298MPH ending the day just ahead of defending Indy 500 winner Josef Newgarden.

Helio Castroneves was fifth fastest for Meyer Shank Racing just ahead of six-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Scott Dixon who was fastest on Wednesday but set a speed of 223.150MPH ending the test just ahead of Arrow McLaren’s Pato O’Ward. Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal was ninth just ahead of Andretti Global’s Marco Andretti who rounded out the top ten while Kyffin Simpson ended his test in 11th place just ahead of Marcus Armstrong.

Will Power in the No.12 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet was 13th just ahead of Nolan Siegel and last year’s Indianapolis 500 pole-sitter Soctt McLaughlin in his No.3 Pennzoil Chevrolet.

Marcus Ericsson was 16th just ahead of Santino Ferrucci who made up for lost track time on Wednesday completing 83 laps just ahead of Colton Herta while Dreyer and Reinbold Racing’s Ryan Hunter-Reay was 19th having completed just 19 laps on the day while Rinus VeeKay did 106 laps for Dale Coyne Racing. Sting Ray was 21st just ahead of Jacob Abel and Christian Rasmussen while Christian Lundgaard was 24th just ahead of Alexander Rossi and Devlin DeFrancesco.

Callum Ilott was 27th for PREMA Racing just ahead of Louis Foster and AJ Foyt Racing’s David Malukas. Jack Harvey rounded out the top 30 for Dreyer and Reinbold Racing with Cusick Motorsports.

Robert Schwartzman was 31st just ahead of Ed Carpenter while Kyle Larson and Takuma Sato rounded out the order following crashes for the pair. The next action for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES is the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix next weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.
